1. Mission: Universal Access Across All Mobile Operating Systems

While EWUmate is natively compiled for Android, university students on iOS devices required an immediate solution without paying Apple App Store developer fees. The EWUMate Web Hub provides:

  • An iOS Progressive Web App (PWA) container with offline service workers allowing iPhone users to install EWUMate directly to their home screens.
  • Zero external runtime JavaScript frameworks (pure Vanilla JS, HTML5, and CSS3), ensuring sub-120ms first contentful paint (FCP) even on spotty 3G mobile data around campus.
